International Cooperation

EU
Denmark cooperates with the other EU member states and EU institutions on the European social and employment policy agenda.
ILO
Denmark is one of 187 member states in the International Labour Organization. The International Labour Organization is a tripartite U.N. agency devoted to promoting social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights, pursuing its founding mission that social justice is essential to universal and lasting peace.
Nordic Council of Ministers
The Nordic Council of Ministers is the official body for the formal interparliamentary co-operation between the Nordic countries. The Nordic Council of Ministers for Labour (MR-A) consists of the national ministers for employment and labour from each of the Nordic countries. Its remit covers intergovernmental cooperation on employment issues, the labour market, the working environment and labour law.
Council of Europe
The Council of Europe is an international human rights organisation with 47 member states . Denmark has ratified the European Social Charter which promotes social and economic rights.
